Housing Communities
Ghetto Housing This isn't exactly the place somebody would want to raise children or anything. Some of the apartments here are..alright, but most are homes to criminals that manage to slip under the cop's radar.

Linway Street (3 sub-boards) A peaceful residential neighborhood, though small, and most of the people know everybody. These houses typically have two or three bedrooms--though sometimes more--and decently-sized yards.
Seawind Suites A nice seaside apartment complex, with rooms ranging in size from one to three bedrooms, though they're mostly spacious. Each apartment comes with a balcony, some facing the inner city, other facing the nearby ocean.

Popular Hang-Outs
Mercury A small bar with three rooms. The first room is your average every-day bar, which looks eerily like the one from the show Cheers!. The second room is a pool room, where people are permitted to smoke (the rest of the bar is smoke-free.) The third room is a popular teen hangout, and, if the cops aren't paying much attention, the barkeep sells a joint every now and again

Lithium A very guarded strip joint that also serves alcohol. The bouncer is extremely strict about I.D., and knows when he sees a fake one. Inside, it's dark, except the stage, which has several different colors of lights so the dancers and strippers know what they're doing. There are chairs all over, some close and some far from the stage.

Garaux Park A nice little park with a lot to do. There is a long walking trail (Approx. 2 miles), with random exercise station along the way. There are a couple of different playgrounds, each with a tire swing, monkey bars, etc. And, of course, the wilderness center, located in the beautiful Jpanese Gardens, which are filled with cherry trees, brought from Japan. A small brook flows through the park, which people occasionally go fishing in.
La-La-Land A hippie bar, where the bartenders wear tye-dye and have "Peace" signs posted up all over the walls. This place serves not only all forms of alcohol, but some drugs (only if requested by the customer.) such as reefer as well. Be careful, though. The cops have their eyes on this place!

Latte-Da Latte-Da is nothing more than generic StarBucks. Unlike the other knock-off stores though, their stuff tastes exactly the same--unless one would have freaky super-human taste--just cheaper.

The Arcade Mainly game nerds and other teens hang out here. They have all kinds of games from PacMan to driving simulations, to air hockey, to DDR, and much, much more. With each game, people can win tickets, then turn them in at the counter for prizes.

Rehoboth Beach A beautiful white-sanded beach that stretches on for miles. The water is almost crystal clear, and the waves are perfect for surfing, at high tide, and swimming, at low tide.
Aurora Public Pool An outdoor pool. It's separated into three different pools, not including the small area of grass for people to sit in. There's the three-foot-deep lap pool on the far right, in the middle is a pool that goes from two to ten feet, with a diving board at the 10-foot end, and then on the far left there is a 1/2-foot-deep kiddie pool. They also have a concession stand.

Around Town
Main Street Diners (5 sub-boards) These are just a bunch of places to eat all grouped together on the same street. There are all kinds of different foods, and the restaurants range from cheap to expensive food.
Education (6 sub-boards) Education is very important. It's a proven fact that the more education a person has, the more money they'll earn over their lifetime. Aurora takes pride in its excellent academic system.

Rising Stars Talent Agency The Talent Agency is a four-story building, where people with special skills are discovered. Floor 1 is just appointment-making and other administrative stuff. Floor 2 is all about the music. Floor 3 is for future actors/actresses. And fourth floor is for artists of all kinds.

The Olympic This is a popular gym, with low fees. They have a little bit of everything to do: a weight room, indoor courts for basketball, raquetball, wallball, and tennis, plus a rock climbing wall room and an indoor lap pool.

Cranberry Mall (10 sub-boards) The Cranberry Mall is..well, huge! It has pretty much something for everyone: there are clothing stores, a food court, toy stores, and much, much more. They even have a movie theater.

Claws'N'Paws Claws'N'Paws is a comination pet store and no-kill shelter. The basement is divided into two sections: one is for grooming/training animals, and the other is a vet's office.

Lighthouse Pools A cute little pool shop. They sell pools, gazaebos, hot tubs, pool tables, and more. There are all kinds of styles and sizes of the pools and things. They'll help you figure out what chemicals to put in the pool water, too. Plus they sell pool toys like diving rings, and inflatable rafts, and goggles.

In An Emergency, Call..
Aurora Police Department The town's very own police department. They keep the town safe from criminals to the best of their abilities. it's a close-knit police force. Be careful, criminals: mess with one cop, and you mess with them all. Moderator: [+]Rabbit*David[+]

Aurora Fire Department Cat stuck in a tree? House on fire? Kid stuck in a hole? Call the Fire Deperatment, and they'll come to your recue! Like the PD, these firefighters are close-knit, and skilled at their job.

Mercy Medical Center With doctors on-call 24/7, this hospital gives the best of care to patients with a variety of injuries and sicknesses. Only the very best doctors, nurses, and other hospital staff are employed here.
Paintball Grounds A large plot of land outdoors, which people use for paintball. There are all kinds of walls set up, so people can hide behind them before jumping out to shoot, and the facility is bordering on the woods, which they also use to shoot around in. (They also airsoft at some times.) Of course, there is a small stand nearby, so the players can rent gear if they need to.

Earth Trekks A large rock climbing building. It used to be a warehouse, but then somebody bought it, and it's so much more fun now. There are walls for all different experience levels, and on the second floor, lessons and birthday parties are held.

Evolution Skate Park This is a large building for people who love to skateboard. There are all kinds of things from half-pipes and quarter-pipes, to stairs with rails..everything a skater could want is right here. There are even lessons for beginners.

Young Champions The local Martial Arts facility. Classes are taught for all levels from white to black belts, for ages five and up. It's a pretty small building, though, so class sizes are kept fairly small. Tournaments are also held here, which students can participate in once they reach a certain belt rank.

The Outskirts of Town
The Ghetto In The Ghetto {a.k.a: The 'Hood}, crimes such as murder and drugs (both selling and using) are almost expected. It's dangerous for even the most careful law-abiding citizens. Many police officers have been sent in, in an effort to correct the problems, but very few have made it out alive.

Adoption Center Unwanted, abused, or abandoned children under the age of eightteen come here, to the Adoption Center. They are well taken care of. The school-aged children are given classes, and all of the children are given three square meals a day.

Courthouse The Courthouse--where cases are argued, the guilty punished, and the innocent set free. There are two sides to every story, and it's up to an impartial jury to decide whose side is correct. There are always plenty of spectators, and the press. Of course, not all cases must be decided by a jury--things such as divorce, and minor crime can be decided by just the judge.

Aurora Falls This is the waterfall the city was named after. There are rocks going up to a cliff at the top, about a hundred feet, and the falls come off the cliff, down to a pond at the bottom. There are several ledges in the rocks, that people jump off of when they swim.
McKinley Museum This is a cool little museum with a little bit of everythnig in its three floors. There's a planetarium, a presidential room, a war room, a science and technology room, a prehistoric room, a gift shop, and more.

Means of Travel (5 sub-boards) If travelling somewhere, there are several ways to go places: a Greyhound Bus, and airplane, a train, or maybe even driving by yourself! Some ways are more cost-effective than others, but they're all great ways to get from here to there, and around the world.

Other Places For those times when you just need to post in a place that doesn't already have its own board, this is the perfect place. It can be literally anywhere. A different country. An alley. Whatever. It's your choice. Who knows, if people post in a certain place enough, it might even become its own board.
